Fit Waffle is a blog written by two fitness enthusiasts who basically love to eat.
What started off as a fitness based Instagram account and blog, quickly changed into the ultimate food porn and cheat meal hub that seemed much more like our cup of tea (and cake).
That doesn't mean we're not doing the whole fitness thing anymore. We're just as determined and dedicated to the gym as we were before, we've just taken a different angle on it.
Anyway, burgers and doughnuts are much more photogenic.
We are here to share our knowledge, thoughts and journeys about dieting and fitness, and also to provide you with a good helping of food porn along the way!
We talk about everything from burger joints and travelling, to protein bars and dieting methods.
So sit tight, grab a protein shake or a tub of ice cream and enjoy the blog!
Hi, I'm Eloise. A fully qualified personal trainer and gym manager based in Southampton with a love for nutrition and all things food.
I first started this blog as a diary to my first bikini competition and to help others decode this crazy world of fitness and dieting!
I'm a huge lover of 'flexible dieting' (or 'IIFYM' as you may call it), as it got me out of my clean eating rut and allowed me to enjoy food properly again.
As my goal of competing went down the drain, due to a knee injury, I had to find something that I enjoyed just as much to take my mind off my knees and training... I found food!
Okay not quite. I wasn't going to let my whole fitness career go down the drain, I mean it was all I knew!
It wasn't until I found out that I loved food photography, editing photos and travelling around. The two went hand in hand and the Fitwaffle food porn Instagram account was created!

Bernie has been training for most of his life. His main focus has always been strength training, speed and power. Anything that makes him feel as 'alpha' as possible... He first frowned upon anything bodybuilding style (especially bicep curls), but slowly came around to introducing them into his workout along with a rare bit of cardio!
Following a IIFYM style diet he managed to drop 55lbs and get in the best shape of his life! For such a food lover after trying almost every diet under the sun, he finally found one that worked for him.
Now he's always on the hunt for our next food adventure and still manages to lose weight, whilst eating the ultimate cheat foods!
